      1. CyberCars
The objective of the project CyberCar is to bring all the European actors of this field together in order to test and exchange best practices, share some of the development work and progress faster in the experiments. A major part of the work carried during the project, will be the development and test of several key technologies for the enhancement of the existing systems. These technologies concern better guidance, better collision avoidance, better energy management, better fleet management and the development of simple and standard user interfaces.

      2. VIKING - Intelligent Transport Systems in Northern Europe
The Nordic countries Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway together with Schleswig- Holstein, Niedersachsen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Hamburg and Bremen of Germany, initiated in 1995 a joint action, the VIKING project, aiming at the development and co-ordination of national and bi-lateral traffic management and transport telematics implementation schemes.

      3. ARTS
ARTS ( Advanced Road Telematics in the South-west) is a Euro-Regional project funded by the European Comission. It is the first attempt from the Public Traffic Administrations in Spain (DGT and DT), France and Portugal at studying how the co-ordination of traffic telematic installation projects at regional, bilateral and multilateral levels can improve the continuity and quality of the services to be offered to the road users. This project covers the so called ARTS corridor that links the traffic coming from Portugal with that from Europe and that mainly uses the South Atlantic axis.

      4. Centrico
CENTRICO is a Euroregional Project implementing Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to improve the efficiency of the Trans European Road Network (TERN) in order to keep people and goods moving. With 100 million inhabitants living within its borders, CENTRICO has a high volume of cross-border traffic and a very dense road network. The CENTRICO project is supported by the DG TREN of the European Commision.

      5. CyberMove
The goals of the CyberMove project are to improve the attractiveness and quality of life in Anyville by reducing the use and the parking needs of traditional cars. This will be achieved by new transportation systems based on cybercars as a complement to public mass transportation. Cybercars offer a cleaner and safer transportation mode available to everyone including people who cannot (or should not) drive for a level of service better than with private cars (door to door, individual, on-demand transportation).

      6. CORVETTE-MIP
The CORVETTE MIP project develops and implements Intelligent Transport Systems on the Trans European Networks (TEN) with the support of the European Commission (EC) DG TREN. The CORVETTE project recognises the importance of ITS in making better use of road networks and in providing information to the European traveller. All the involved partners have concentrated their efforts to elaborate and deploy new ITS systems and to enhance the existing ones in order to improve the quality of the services and to guarantee the continuity and interoperability of the services through the borders.

      7. GENESIS OFFICE
GENESIS is a Thematic Network launched under the 5th Framework Programme as part of the Galileo definition phase. GENESIS main objective is to provide the European Commission Thematic Network with support through the setting up and the management of a structured network composed of institutional partners and on-request satellite navigation experts.

      8. SERTI WEB
SERTI, as one of the six Euro-Regional projects covering multi-national regions within Europe, is part of the TEMPO programme. This framework, which has been introduced by DG-TREN (Direction General of energy and transport of the European Community), enables longer term planning and more consistent support to improve the continuity and the quality of services on the European road network.

      9. SERTI

      10. Sstreetwise
STREETWISE is part of a European Commission supported initiative to improve travel and transport across Europe. The road authorities are working together to improve travel and provide high quality information on the most important roads in the STREETWISE area. STREETWISE development and cooperation will allow travellers to make more informed decisions about their routes and what they can expect during their journeys.

      11. TMC - Traffic Message Channel
The TMC Forum is a non-profit association of key players within the field of TMC and traffic information. The current members come from a variety of sectors, i.e. service providers, receiver manufacturers, car manufacturers, map database suppliers, public authorities, broadcasters and other organisations.

      12. VIKING
